2010 Season - Week 20
BUMSBowl XV
Football is a game of inches. Ask Aaron and the Jets. If LaDainian Tomlinson had gained another 6 inches on his 4th down run with less than 8 minutes left in the Jets 19-24 loss in Pittsburgh Aaron would be in his first BUMSBowl. Instead his father is still the daddy as Chief won 20-15 and will play in his 5th BUMSBowl in 11 years (dynasty?). He is 3-1 having won BUMSBowl V in 2000, VIII in 2003 and XIII two years ago. His only loss came in 2002 when defeated by his other son Marcus. Chief will play his key nemesis after Johnnie held on to defeat David S in the other Conference game. Johnnie is looking to do the double double (dynasty?) by retaining the BUMSBowl after winning back to back Papas Fritas Championships. The runner-up in the last two league titles – Chief. What makes you think this game is going to be personal. Despite being the top two All-Time Leading Points Scorers they have only ever met twice before, Chief winning both (1998 Divisional round and 2008 Championship round). In postseason play Chief is 30-11, Johnnie 20-13. So let battle commence, Johnnie & Chief need to get their teams in by 6pm Sunday February 7th. First come first served etc etc

BUMS on ProBowl and Superbowl Seats
The ProBowl is played this Sunday (a week before the Superbowl) and we will be meeting at Johnnies on Monday from 6:30pm to see it. Superbowl XLIV is on Sunday February 7th on the BBC with kick-off around 11.20pm & H will be cooking a USA feast, for 10:30pm so let us know if you can make it. It will be an unbiased meal of Packers Cheese(head) Burgers served with Pittsburgh Heinz (Field) Ketchup. The Steelers are looking to tie New England for 3 wins this decade and the first to win seven Superbowl titles, while the Packers are looking to become the first team to win the Superbowl in three separate decades. Two of the greatest and most storied franchises go head to head in 10days. So who ya got? We’ll be playing all the usual games, more information on them next week.
